The Southern Arizona Regional Science and Engineering Fair began Monday and runs through Friday.

It is at the Tucson Convention Center Exhibit Hall.

The Exhibit Hall will be open to the public for project viewing from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

In addition to the regional fair, there will be a free Cox’s Future Innovators night on Wednesday from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

There will be interactive displays, activities and prizes.

Students can make frozen comets with the help of the Planetary Science Institute, experience animals from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, participate in experiments with the Physics Factory and more.
