Small crowd so far. Kickoff is 15 minutes or so away. Good numbers for both teams. I count 42 in uniform for Titusville and 46 for Rockledge. Those are rough numbers because players are moving around on the field, but both are in the neighborhood

FIRST QUARTER
Titusville went nowhere on its first drive. Rockledge took a punt at its 45 and got one first down into Terriers territory and then punted to Titusville inside its 10.
Through the first period, there is no score. It’s a field position game so far, and the Terriers have been the team backed up.
Looks like Titusville can play a little run defense, which will be pleasant news to coach Jack Bercaw, former defensive coordinator. Rockledge is also trying to pass perhaps a little more than in some years past with quarterback Alex Adler. Experienced players Connor Horvath and Darius World, also a basketball star, are making nice plays on defense. Markhail Bell has five carries for 10 yards for the Terriers.

SECOND QUARTER
Markhail Bell lined up in the Wildcat, but he got a bad snap on second down and lost 6 yards. A nice interception by Rockledge’s Kenny Smith at the Rockledge 45. Ball was underthrown. Rockledge scores on a 3-yard run by Marcus Allen at 3:53 of the half. SCORE: Rockledge 7, Titusville 0. Rockledge gets one more drive and scores on a 10-yard Adler pass to Allen at 0:12.5. SCORE: Rockledge 14, Titusville 0. And that is the halftime score.

THIRD QUARTER
Field position switches sides after Rockledge opens with a 1-2-3-kick. Titusville takes over at the Rock 45, and a Rakeem Murray 32-yard beauty of a run gets it to the 5. Markail Bell scores on a 2-yard run. SCORE: Rockledge 14, Titusville 7. Rockledge fumbled the kickoff, and Titusville gets the ball again, at the Raider 42. Terriers move back, back, back and punt. That’s the end of the third quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER
Murray intercepted a pass and ran it back 72 yards to his own 23 as the third ended. That’s it for varsity as both teams have gone to JV players for the rest of the night. The Terriers got to the 3 but no closer.
After another Rockledge possession, Titusville scores on a 69-yard pass from Josh Wayner to Alec Joyner. SCORE: Titusville 14, Rockledge 14.
